Thank you for upgrading this! It is the perfect tool to help my son think critically to learn about catagorizing different things. It was good to have the identification on before but this is sooo much better, he has to actually think about what also goes with it and use words instead of pictures. It’s so great that you give examples to help him be able to understand better. So all I can say is thank you!

I love, love, love this app. It has just about everything I look for in an app for my students. Beautiful pictures without a distracting background. Clear audio. Ability to select targeted nouns. Receptive identification so I can use this app with even my non-verbal/minimally verbal students. Data collection tool that can be emailed to parents and myself to document mastery. There are only 2 more customized settings that I like to use that would change my rating from 4 stars to 5 – First, the ability to select the number of photos shown at a time (I have to start with only one picture and then increase to 2, then 3, etc.). Lastly, the ability to import additional photos and sound so I can increase the number of items in each category as well as help my students’ ability to generalize by having different photos of the same target. For example, show grapes in different colors and singly as well as in bunches so they can identify ‘grapes’ in all of its forms, not just as a bunch of red grapes.Even without those 2 wishes on my wish list, this app is top notch. I recommend it to all my colleagues, to my students’ parents, and to parents in the various parent support groups I’m a part of – I am also the mom of a son with autism so I look at apps from a parent’s perspective too.

Thank you for a beautiful update Kindergarten.com. I love all the gorgeous animal photos and my kids are actually learning some new information about various animals, including some animals we’d never even heard of. Wonderful job!

I just love this app! I am a SLP working with a range of children with developmental language difficulties, including ASD. I was hoping for an update like this but the changes are way better than I imagined. Now the app has both a receptive and expressive component so it can be used for a much larger range of skill levels. Expressive questions can be turned on and off so you can target receptive skills alone if you wish. The auto-advance feature can also be turned on and off so those children that require more processing time can now be accommodated. I love the huge range of custom settings, including reinforcement options and item selection. The built-in scoring makes data tracking a breeze. Thank you kindergarten.com!

Thank you for this cool app.  My 3 year old thinks it is great.  She’s addicted to it!

Elegant and simple.

I am so impressed!! WOW. My three year old son, diagnosed just before christmas with autism, loves all these apps. They have been a God send in keeping his attention and rewarding him. Not to mention the teaching side. Fantastic, would love to see more, and thank you for honouring our Autism angels! (The stats for Australia are very similar)

Expressive language is a struggle for my son so it’s nice that he can simply hear a description of the items on these flash cards. We’re still working on teaching the FFC’s of common objects so these flash cards are PERFECT. I love that we can customize the flash card selection since 100 flash cards is a lot so we select the targets we’re currently teaching and just practice those for now. Thanks for another great app!

I like this app. I like the crisp clean photos and the fact that the words are pronounced normally. The photos are very clear to see and it is easy to understand what the items are. I do these flash cards while my son is eating because when he sees them he usually wants to eat.

I have a 2 year old that loves to ask, what’s that?  She was mesmorized by the pictures and repeated each word until it sounded like the voice, which is clear and precise.  No silly things to confuse or distract.

Great voice! My 16 month old’s face lit up when I showed him this app.

My 3 year old son loves you apps and is so proud of himself when he gets it right one the first try.  I like it that even if he doesn’t get it right, the app encourages him to “try again”.

Both my kids love this application (ages 4 and 6).  They enjoying hearing the applause and cheering when they get a question right.  The photos are beautiful and the audio is crisp and clear.  Great app.  Love it.

Clear voice asks the question on the screen and guides the child to the right answer if they get it wrong.  Children cheer if the child gets it right. A short explanation of why that one is right. Really easy for a toddler to understand and point to. Not overly complicated for a toddler, which is important. My daughter loves all the ABA apps we have so far!  GREAT eductational tools from these people! Bravo!

Very simple!  My toddler loves it.

My toddler love this app. Audio quality is clear.  Keep up the excellent work.

Just what it described – fantastic – love that it repeats the rhyme back to you at the end

Both my children (ages 4 & 6) LOVE these problem solving apps from Kindergarten.com.  They enjoy hearing the applause and cheering when they get an answer right.  The photos are beautiful and the audio is crisp and clear.  Great app!!

My 2 yr old thinks the cookies go with her mouth. Very good app for keeping active kids engaged in sitting still. I was surprised how much my daughter knew.

Bought this app for a friends 3 year old and was totally surprised at how she got almost all of them. She loved the musical reward and really looked forward to the marble prize which she soon discovered could be manipulated to move around the screen. She soon kept anticipating that marble after each successful match by tilting the screen to see if it was coming. Also loved the fact that when she was wrong, she wasn’t startled with a vibration or stern voice, rather a soft “try again”.

I love this application.  Most kids are taught by class or category first so this is a great starter app to get kids thinking about items beyond labels.  My kids love to hear the cheering when they get an answer right.  I think it helps them feel successful.  LOVE this application.

Love it and use it all the time

All of your ABA materials are great. The ones that involve problem solving are really useful. My autism students respond well to your materials. Some of them have shown more receptive language comprehension than we thought they had!

My son has had almost two years of speech therapy but what helped him develop his conversation skills the most was learning the feature, function and class of items.  So while he thinks he is playing a game, I feel like he is learning.  This is a GREAT, GREAT educational app.

My son is loving this. He likes the pictures and the teacher’s voice. this is the perfect app.

I got this app for my autistic son, who is 11 and it was a shock that he figured out how to use it in 1 min. and got all the questions right from the first time! I thought it would be too complicated for him. It was the most amazing tool that let me see the level of comprehension in him that I didn’t even know existed! I can’t thank you enough for this fantastic tool!!! It changed everything!

I thought that the previous apps from Kindergarten.com were great, but this app provides several new improvements. The ability to control settings and collect data is making this a tool that is ready for use in the classroom.
